With virtually all the contract announcements sorted out now I'm really looking forward to tonight. We certainly owe our nearest and dearest one, and second place (at least) is there for the taking. Being in the top two is very important now as it guarantees a couple of home play off games. It's a good strong squad for tonight and I want to see us really hammer the Chemics. Setting off at 11.00am and already getting nervous.

I too would love to see us put a cricket score on them but can't see it as the Weather doesn't look that favourable. I think we'll probably win by 10-12

Whilst I would settle for two points, a big win please, as a close game a defeat, but, a moral victory for our chemical friends just won't do at all.

A win goes without saying. I want us to play well, and people will only acknowledge we have if we put at least 40 on them. I feel we have 2nd sowed up now, even with not exactly trusting ourselves to do the job I think Wigan will slip up at least once more in the last 3 games which would put them 4 points behind us come the end of the season providing we do the job in the last 3 games, so points difference aspect probably won't be a factor, but it'd be nice to have the best anyway. For the record I think we'll lose to Catalan.

I'm not too convinced we will cricket score them. I hope I'm wrong but we have to remember that this is their Cup Final. I hope we start smart and keep rolling forward. By getting a comfortable lead before half time could end the game. Looking forward to the banter. Pity Myler's not playing though.

From my armchair in Sutton Coldfield, I switched on the TV at 9.00 pm and decided to see what was on Sky 1. I saw two teams playing Rugby, one in Primrose and blue and the other in Back and White. I counted the number of players and the team in Black and White only had 12 players and the team in primrose and blue had 13. The team with only 12 players won by 16 points to six. I think the team that won were the Chemics and the team that lost were the Wire Drawers.
