has a warrington player ever been so exceptional over such a varied a number of positions?

loose forward, second row, centre, hooker, stand off..... im sure he has probably played in more positions and i just cant remember.

I didn't see today's game, but i would imagine is he pretty much in the running for player of the year at this stage of the season.

Will he ever have a position? or will he always be 'mr all over the pitch' ?

I know Grix can play anywhere, but I thought he was exceptional last week at centre and thought it might have been a bad call to switch him to second row today, but apparently not.

He has been my stand out player all year, and no matter how you slice it: a hat trick in 9 minutes is special, against any team.

I agree. He's been superb and certainly seems to be excelling at centre.

I think he has the ability to nail down that position permanently but it will depend on whether our Tony believes his value remains in his versatility and he'll play where needed.

In his career he's also played half back and prop. If you didn't know you wouldn't have any idea that he doesn't normally play the positions he's slotted into.

I remember in 2002 a piece on the squad being versatile, of course it wasn't and certainly not to Grix's standard of proper versatility.

I hope we get to Wembley again so he can play in a CC Final, it's a shame he's missed out for various reasons.

He had another outstanding game today, scoring a hat trick. The best was the last of the match. I was watching from the far side and saw him turn up on the wing with blistering pace, to scorch in for his third try. I think he has found another position he quite likes.

I always think of Grix as our secret weapon as he is so underrated by other teams. And almost goes under the radar most times.

Whatever, Simon Grix is an outstanding talent and deserves to be in our starting 17 every match.

His third try Sat was best of bunch, the speed and dummy with a one handed carry was class!

Felt for him at the end of the GF last year. No player in our squad deserves a winners medal more than Grix. Perhaps his versatility days are over and right centre is his position.
