| Would anyone be surprised if no Warrington players made the final England RL squad for the rlwc2013? At the moment, I am struggling to see who would be included.

| I'd say that Hill and Myler are deserving absolute certainties for the squad whilst Westwood is also an absolute certainty whose current form doesn't warrant it.
If you are struggling to see those three I suggest a trip to specsavers may be in order.
Other possibilities although requiring a resurgence in form are Atkins, Bridge, Morley and Carvell. Ratchford with a good run of form may force his way in.

Myler ahead of Sinfield, Widdop, Chase or even Lomax, don't be silly.

| I think Carvell is a must, Hill too probably. Benny Harrison could have a decent shout too.
Westwood, Myler, Ratchford, Atkins and Bridge have it all to do imo.

Sinfield & Widdop (based alone on the fact he's playing NRL) Chase & Lomax do me a favour. Chase won't be bothered playing for England once he's in th NRL as for Lomax the saviour of Saints, he's a one trick, lift the left leg before stepping off the right and its just a battle of the fastest who wins. His distribution is poor and I'm not convinced he's get the temperament when the chips are down.

Amazing isnt it there are countless other threads saying the state of the game is in an absolute mess and the quality is the worst its ever been since the game turned pro, yet the league is actually that strong that the challenge cup winners from three of the last four years, the last grand final runners up, and the league leaders from 2011 cant provide a single player for the national squad.
that is one amazing stat that just highlights such an amazing strength in depth we have .... congratulations must go out to the RFL on this one. and Wires must now rebuild or risk being overtaken by Salford as Lancashires most succesful team of the past four years.......

I know you just couldn't make it up. I'm guessing he was distracted as he was trying so hard to resist adding Matty Smith to the list

come on tell me the distinction between the modern day half back and stand off? Widdop has an can play in both positions, Lomax has played half back more times then fullback in his Saints career, Rangi played half back for England with Sinfield at stand off who contrary to popular belief plays stand off for Leeds. Good work. If where going down your trail of thought St George Illawarra would be a right pickle when they sign Rangi Chase, it can't work Widdop and Chase together surely not? too stand offs!

If you don't recognize the traditional roles of the two positions are not commonly used in the modern game and that the 6 and 7 are considered pivots for the left and right sides of field with pretty much identical roles then that's not my problem.
