| i went to the match yesterday with my wife who probably as you already know is a widnes fan, so we sat in the north stand (the widnes stand), as we stand in the south when we play at home. Around 5 mins to go to halftime i get up to go the toilet, i get to the top of the stand and a stewardess points at 4 guys and says i think they want you, so i look and i get threatened to get my head kicked in and if i go out of sight of security they will follow me and kick crap out of me, we were quickly moved into the west stand however the guy that was kicking off remained there.
towards the end of the game a fan in the west threw a bottle onto the pitch that i do not condone but he was pointed out by other warrington fans and quickly escorted off. following that was a barrage of bottles from the north stand being thrown into the west where people were having to pick up their kids and run out the stand i left at this time too. After the game i was speaking to my father in law who is one of the heads of security at the stobart and said that someone in the warrington end was also arrested for racism against ah van again this was brought to the attention of security by fellow warrington fans.
i have never felt physically unsafe at a rugby game before and this is disgusting, those that threw bottles into stands were families are should hang their heads in shame. But on the flip side it was good to see our own fans weeding out the trouble by reporting it and pointing it out.

| We saw you getting led away mate. It was commented on at the time that it was an awful thing to have to do, considering you were there with your missus who was a Widnes fan. Sorry it spoiled your day, pal. As if the result wasn't bad enough

| I was in the North Stand and had an ok experience. Yours sounds terrible. Not great at rugby, eh? I was commenting to the Widnes fan next to me that it's good I could sit there and not feel worried (in a Wires jacket).

There is sh*t at every club mate, but I was glad to read that the real fans were ready to flush the sh*te out. Well done to them and good luck to you!

| I was a few seats from one of the idiots who threw a bottle near the end of the game. He looked an idiot from the start as he only had a short sleeved top on. He was quickly pointed out by surrounding fans. The stewards initially didn't seem too bothered, but some middle aged supporters who looked like they could handle themselves told them that if they didn't chuck them out, they would do so themselves.
An ex wire player was also in the crowd difusing the situation.

| We were in the sports bar for a couple of hours or so after the game, great friendly banter with the Widnes fans except one scummy family taking exception to me brushing past the father and trying to cause a scene- apparently they own the stadium bar! Only takes one or two, but on the whole RL fans do the sport proud.

As a club Warrington need to be smart and public here. They should obtain the CCTV from Widnes, identify the offender, name and ban him from the HJ. It will send the right message out to others who think they can behave badly and get away with it.

The in goal judge must have felt the breeze from one of the bottles, it passed so close to his head. I hate to even think about the potential consequences had it of hit. IMO the culprits should never be allowed into a rugby game again for the rest of their lives.
It does seem there is a small minority who shouldn't even be allowed to sniff the barmaids apron, never mind drink the stuff. Much as I prefer beer in bottles (over plastic glasses) it does seem that providing these idiots with a potentially dangerous missile is inevitably going to end up in the kind of scenes we witnessed (yet again) on Friday.

| The number of times that people complain about culprits but dont do anything, it seems that we (as a group of fans) are learning that if people are "shopped" (to use the phrase that people always use as the grounds for not informing) they are dealt with. If people dont pass on information, it wont be dealt with. If they do, it may not necessarily be dealt with, but at least then its the clubs fault.
The stewarding of the Warrington fans looked like it was being done by stewards from the HJ and it looked like there were a couple of incidents in the East stand that were "dealt with".

Think about your post. If that bottle hit Ratch on the head/face what could we be looking at regarding his health? A cracked skull, fractured eye socket, broken nose the list goes on. Then we as fans & as a club would be without an important member of our team for a long period. So don't come everyone's a grass these days. I will say it on here for the record. Anyone who knows the identity of the person who threw the bottle needs to supply the club with that persons name in order for action to be taken. People will moan when the RFL ban alcohol at SL games due to incidents like this.

| I guess you were sat near top corner of north stand? this was my usual spec but have moved recently due to the increasing number of idiots gathering there. I have to say the wire fans on Friday were a credit to you club and town, obviously this fixture has a bit of history, my young daughter wanted to come so I took her and we sat in south stand. As usual your lot came in big numbers and I have to say the behaviour of the wire fans was a real credit to you all, we saw loads of wire fans in and around the ground and we had no worries at all about anything silly happening.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
