Anyone seen trailers of the new Rugby League Live 2 game due out on the XBOX 360.

I know previous attempts to transfer RL to games consoles have been poor but this looks pretty good .... and it's got international teams for those lamenting the demise of kangaroo tours!

I got it imported from NZ so have been playing it for about two weeks on and off. It's a big step up from the last pile of dross, but there's still work needed. For instance, interceptions occur way too much!

Overall though, it's good fun once you master the gameplay style.

Glad I got it from NZ anyway, keeps ratboy off the front cover in this house

Where did you order it from and how long did delivery take?

I bought it from JB Hi Fi, took 10 days to arrive. Did end up costing about £65 though.

Ordered from mightyape.co.nz on the wednesday evening and it shipped early hours of the friday 12th oct, arrived by the following tuesday 16th. Surprisingly quick! Did cost around 65 quid though. Worth it for a full month's extra gaming I feel.

Living in Switzerland, I was going to go down the import from down under route, then decided that I could wait for the Uk release as I'll be in the Uk when it comes out...
To those who have got it, I've heard that if you change to a side on view it cuts downthe number of interceptions... never played that way before but might give it a try...
Does it have the extended version of the HJ stadium? I saw it had salford's ground on it, imo one of the best aspects of the rl series, is that it has all of the stadia...

It's very good. Any RL fan will love it. It does have its flaws - interceptions, camera angles etc - but you'll get loads of game time out of it.

And the stadia is impressive (with the exception of Old Trafford, might be something to do with licensing though). Pretty sure it has the extended HJ on the game.

have you been online yet? have they sorted the lag out? dont think i played a single online game on rll1 without it being laggy thanks

I played one game and that was extremely laggy, but probably due to it not being out in Europe yet so I'm pretty sure I was playing an Aussie. Hard to gauge how good it is then.

this game is now £39.99 which is pretty decent considering i was expecting to pay £49.99. but the bad news is its been put back two weeks untill the 30th

Glad I paid the extra to get it mid-october, that delay just takes the mick.

For the sake of repackaging with a SL Cover the UK Distributor pushes the date back to near december? What a joke, but can't say I'm surprised. Alternative Software have history with this after all. Can't see what takes so long.

It's because of something to do with the release of Call of Duty...but I can't see why this has only been realised now!!

Hope its better than the first, wasn't impressed with that at all !
