Enjoy it boys and girls. I'm sure it'll be the first of many SL titles tomorrow, but breathe in every moment of it, just in case it's the first and last.

And DON'T GET DRUNK. A mate of mine is so nervous about it he started drinking in anticipation of it tonight. He'll be lucky to even get to Old Trafford. Don't do that, don't end up slumped in a pub somewhere and missing it.

I would like Wire to win today because they deserve it more than Leeds. Warrington came second in SL, and justifiably so, Leeds are making a mockery of the whole season and just playing when they choose. Ok if you think that’s playing it smart, that’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it, but I happen to think it’s helping to destroy the game I love. So come on Wire see em off!

Brother just texted me, he's in Manchester now 'cos he's going to the City game first. He said there's loads of Wire in the city already.

I was going to get the train at about 3.30, but sod it i'm going to get ready now, can't wait.

That's probably Al's coach, I imagine they set off at about 6:30am...

Setting off at 1pm from Birchwood on the train, then the Mark Addy pub and a barge down the canal to Old Trafford just before the game... Days like this don't come around very ofter and I'm going to savour every second!

Up at 8 this morning (which for me on a Saturday is like the middle of the night), and can't believe how nervous I feel. Are 35 years of hurt coming to an end today, or is fate going to twist the knife and make me wait a little (or a lot

C'MON THE WIRE

I've been ummmming and rrrrring all week about going today (for various reasons), anyway decided late yesterday and made the decision to go cos I just couldn't imagine not being there (even though I hate OT and I don't even like football lol). Anyways.... phoned to book tickets this morning. 2 hours later no confirmation email, phoned again to find out why, after half an hour an the phone and a nervous wait for a call back I find out they'd only allocated the tickets to some other person!!!!!! Thankfully (hopefully) it's all sorted now and I'll be picking them up at OT. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I've decided to go, can't believe how anxious I feel lol. Come on the Wire
