Has anyone been there yet? It looks like the only way I can get a train home from our match in a couple of weeks is by getting the 22.11 from St Helens Central to Wigan and changing there.

Do I stand a chance of making it on time without leaving half way through the second half?

It's about 10 minutes walk I should think. Not been yet though.

Should be fine, at a normal walking pace should take about 15 minutes.

Always walk past the station after the match on the way to the car, usually get to the station just before 10-00pm brisk walking pace.

Have a look at Arriva buses to take you to St Helens Junction , i think there is one that goes past the ground which is in Peasley Cross , then you can get a train to Piccadilly which should be about half past the hour ,but if you miss that one there will be a train about 11 30 from the same station.

There's no trains from Junction at that time - I checked earlier. If its only a 10-15 minute walk to Central that'll do though, cheers all.

It's a pain really because I know there was a train from Junction at about 10.30ish after our last game at Knowsley Road because I got a bus from town and got it, but there's not now.

Given that Central only really serves Wigan and Liverpool, St Helens is one stupidly awkward town to get in and out of on public transport. Once I see us win there (zero victories from countless trips I made to Knowsley Road) I'm not going again unless its a play off or afternoon Challenge Cup match.
