Just heard you have to but a parking ticket in advance otherwise you have to park a few miles away and then go in by bus.

Not local.

Can park at Barton Air field for £5 just up the road from the ground.

Park at Eccles ARLFC. Safe parking, place to get a drink and easy to get to and away from. Only a ten minute walk which is probably as good as you can do for secure parking.

Looks like a crowd of 10000+. How many parking spaces are there? Is there a chance it will be full if we turn up later.

To park at the ground you need to contact Salford City Stadium NOT the rugby club. It's £5 50 to park at the ground,they send you an e mail & you print the parking ticket off the attachment..simples!

Car parks at SCS are still being worked on,to increase car park capacity,so if you dont park at the stadium,options are very limited.good luck sunday.salford fan.

Totally agree with PY, we parked on Eccles and it was easy to get away from in the end and easy to get to the ground from there too.

Think its Hailsworth Road although there is a game day sign to it off the A57 (Liverpool Road). Used it last time, no problems at all.

Salford City Stadium is the other side of the M60 from Eccles ARLFC going along Liverpool Road towards Irlam

my question was aimed at the Accles RFC parking. Are there plenty of spaces or are you likely to find it full if you turn up 45 mins before KO.

They have a big tarmacced area adjacent the actual club car park that they open as an over-spill if necessary. No problem getting a space at any time. You walk through a sub-way under the motorway which shortens the walk considerably from what it will look on a map.

The £3 going to help an amateur RL club survive has got to be a bonus.

I couldn't recommend Eccles RLFC enough tbh. Weve parked there twice now and it's just the job. A decent pint, rugby on the big screen, loads of space, a 15 minute walk, easy to get away from after and as an added bonus your keeping the money in rugby league.
