There needs to be an official enquiry into last nights shenanigans.

Warrington didnt start playing till there was about 15 minutes left and when they did start playing they were tearing Salford a new one.

That warrington team was more than capable of demolishing salford and i dont care what anyone says but warrington, for whatever reason, threw that game last night.

Rugby League and SL especially is fast disappearing down the poop hole.

Wigans loss to bradford at home is also highly suspicious.

could that not be down to the fact that salford were maybe tired after playing with the greater intensity for so long then? What gain would wire or wigan get from throwing a game? Is betfred now paying out record sums on last nights results? Will the players be turning up to training in bentleys after a far east betting syndicate made so much on the "shock" losses? Utter .

Im not saying it was thrown for gambling reasons.

All I know is that warrington didnt want to win that game last night and only started playing when salford were out of sight.

Even tony looked like he wasnt bothered.

The only enquiry that needs to take place is the fact that we seem to be able to get away with resting so many players, in football you get fined for not playing your strongest fit team. I remember a lot of fans on this board calling for the same to happen to Shaun Wane when he did it at Widnes. It shows a complete lack of respect to other teams and im not just talking about last night.

Cant see what advantages losing to salford and bradford on purpose that us or wigan would gain? Smith probably didnt look bothered at the end because he knows that it means jack in the grand scheme of things. Maybe if we had lost with a full team he would have been alot more bothered then but intelligent coaches like smith would have learnt more about there squad last night than if we had just turned up and steam rollered em.

[iLast night Salford City Reds had plenty of players missing due to injury, but the same can't be said for Warrington Wolves and by the sounds of your head-coach Tony Smith it was all down to his squad rotation system.

Well that's all well and good but in my opinion each and every week you should put out your strongest side when possible.

All this resting players is in my eyes bull sh@t and when a club does this they deserve to get stuffed out on the paddock.

I don't blame Mr Smith or Mr Wane for what they both did last night because I firmly believe this is the fault of the current Super League play-off system.

You can't be fined or slated for doing this in a competition which actually encourages you to rest players. Fault of the RFL for not putting enough importance on the regular rounds.

You cant no. but you should, the RFL needs to make sure that the best players are on the field week in week out to maximise the spectacle. So far the season has been poor and the RFL have some thinking to do
