The "RFL News" has none.

The Fixture's & Results tab has never even been formatted properly. The date
has never been formatted into English and the Results has the result left to right
no matter what the score was, with a "W" indicating we won.

I didn't bother looking any further.

I really hate posts like this. If you've got a complaint about anything the club does, then at least have the courage to make a complaint either by E Mail, letter, or in person at the HJ. Don't hide behind a nickname and slag the club off.

Maybe he did complain to the club by E-mail,BUT from experience i know they dont reply,especially if you make a complaint regarding one of there staff.

Get-in a proper retro post.

The website is ok apart from the advert for the Wakefield game on 18th March that pops up before you enter the main site.

I complained last year, I received two replies both of which took two weeks to reply and were very confrontational/defensive!

You don't make money from people checking info on your website.
On the other hand, sponsors advertising and the online shop fully functioning. That's where you make money.

Simple business really, prioritise the money making aspect.

Why do you think some businesses spend much less on their customer service department than their sales department? One makes money, one loses money.

Talking of simple....Your statements although engrained in truth might just be a little simplistic? For example I'm sure a business like M&S prides itself on customer service and is one of the factors that determines that it retains the customers it has and attracts new ones.

You have got to make doing business easy as there is plenty of competition in the market place and a naff web site (I'm not saying that it is by the way) isn't helpful.

If customers are helped and feel wanted they will give you the best business there is....repeat business.

Ah technically wrong, you need users to use the site and increase the coverage for the advertisers. They will pay based on the hits the site gets, so more interesting topics and news = more punters = more coverage for the advertising.

Referring back to the OP, does the "injury news" page really affect if people attend the Wire games or not? The website has the essentials in place (fixtures, online shop, etc) for supporters to spend their money and to focus on when Warrington next play and where. Let's face it, although we all like businesses to make effort with the small things, sometimes it is just not cost effective for a business to do so.

FWIW I've never had an issue with the website before. Echoing other comments, if you've got an issue, raise it directly with the club. Complaints are what the club should deal with to, as mentioned, retain customers.

The OP makes a few vaild points and is totally justified, the website is cack.

As for contacting the club with any kind of complaint or criticism all you will get is a brick wall.

I've looked everywhere on the site and there is no mention anywhere of Sculthorpe signing. My mates cousin mentioned he knows someone who works for Halliwell Jones and they were given the task of ordering some more P, L, S, C, U, H, R and E letters for the players sponsored cars. He got plenty of time though. He's been told it has to be done by Christmas for a Boxing Day announcement

my only gripe with the website is the dates of fixtures being in the american form ie, month day year. not a big gripe, not big enough to bring up on a RL fan bases web forum........oops!
