Pretty exciting hearing about our under 20s side ripping up trees already this year ( and last year to be fair). I dont get a chance to watch them live so was wondering from those that do, who will be next to press for a senior place in the side? Obviously O'Brien is at the forefront and I would class Rhys Evans as senior squad player now. Is there anyone else coming through who looks like he could really step up next year, given we should be losing two or three veterans?
I believe Wigan have a few very exciting prospects in addition to Charnley and Tomkins who have made themselves regulars and should go on to win many caps for England. The stand off at Leeds looks a very talented kid from the videos on their site. Steve Ward I think? Saints have Lomax, Makinson, and Gaskell who all have come through their ranks recently too who are clearly of good/excellent SL standard.
Not wanting to only single out the obvious, is there anyone else from other clubs who is a rising star?
Seems like there is more good kids coming through now than I have ever known. Could just be me, but hopefully the quota cutting is working as it should.
I heard big Glenn Riley went really well last night, put in a decent shift after the loss of Ben Evans, big strong aggressive lad, will probably go on dual reg I guess.
Brad Dwyer for me. As someone posted on here in another thread, we should be giving a few of the youngsters a chance but who would you drop ? I dont think anyone deserves to be dropped. But Dwyer does look a great prospect and i think we need a sub hooker , i wouldnt mind seeing him put on the bench and coming on to give Monas a rest in a few games , maybe against the weaker teams

Jack Cooper would have been my shout had he not gone to Aus. I hope he can stay injury free and who knows, we may see him in the NRL within the next couple or years.
