He did well to take that long pass and go in to score his 1st, and the footwork plus dummy for his 2nd was brilliant. Rhys should get plenty of game time this season either in the centre or on the wing.

The youngsters played really well yesterday, I hope some get 1st team chances this year and I'm sure they will if they keep working hard.

That moment alone was worth the entance fee.

Regarding youngsters i thought Ryan Shaw looked good when he came on and Brad Dwyer was very busy and shown some good touches.

the second rhys try was described to me by a widnesian chum of mine as poor defence from widnes. From where i was stood he just seemed to glide through their whole defence, brilliant individual try for me and was very strong in defence and attack yesterday, looks to be earning himself a starting place.

He played dam well if you ask me.

he was awsome so was ryan shaw, williams, mendika, currie, dywer, cooper, hill all played well but i was supprised how well some of the younger ones went bit gutted some didnt a chance though !

Evans was rubbish
