They are a different bunch when they win. I remember leaving Widnes when Wire beat us in CC semi. My wife was mocked for wearing a Wigan shirt (maybe par for the course) whilst my daughter was mocked for being disabled.

Both of my kids were then screaminig in fear whilst ADULT wire morons banged on and rocked our car whilst stuck in traffic.

Not all the same I know but I just wanted to add some balance to the thread.

Well I know a few wire fans who rocked on this pensioners car due to having a Widnes sticker on the windscreen.It happened at the traffic lights at the albion.Idiots in all fans.

The Warrington club and fans are a credit to Rugby League. In Tony Smith you have a coach who is brilliant and who knows how to behave both in victory and defeat.

This thread ought to be copied and pasted into the Wigan forum, some utter toolpipe in there is claiming the rest of the league hates Warrington and were over the moon with last night's result. I think everyone knows Wigan are the most disliked side in RL at the moment due to poop-house tactics and all that. Oh well.

Do you think wigan fans and players get upset that everyone hates us in rugby league?.....we love it!!!!. We're the manchester united of rugby and people hate us because we're the most succesful team over history just like united are. Get over yourselves dogs.....you've had a good season and you can only kick on from it. Do think you got slightly carried away with winning the league leaders shield though....lesson learned is not not count your chickens and only boast your the best when you've actually won something!!

great atmosphere and great fans somebody had to win and fortunately for me it was the rhinos. Great game could have gone anyway hard luck warrington you have been class all season

They say they "ARE" rugby league...They call other clubs insignificant...Wish career ending injuries on players..And call pundits like Davies and Schofield bitter because they never played for Wigan....

Excellent performance by Leeds bad day at the office from us but thats the playoffs.

Warrington has always been my gave away day and last night confirmed it. Was stood near 2 wire fans and they were a credit to your club, didn't wind up the Leeds fans when you were on top, shook hands before and after the game and stayed to applaud the Leeds team. Even on my walk back to the coach singing and chanting, wires took it all on the chin and in good form and still shook hands and such. Compared to some grounds I have visited and vitriol received you guys really have rejuvenated my faith in the every day RL fan even though it must have hurt like hell.

Great reading that the Wire fans were gracious in defeat, when we beat 'fax in Blackpool they all waited outside the ground to shake our hands.

RL is the greatest game.

Just like to reiterate what others have said. Thought the wire fans were brilliant last night. No bother great atmosphere and took losing with dignity and stayed to clap our players. More and more at rugby. Leeds included there is more trouble creeping in but the atmosphere last night was brilliant and I really enjoyed it for my first visit. Cheers and thanks.
