Woody said on Twitter that he had an injection today and is hoping to be fit for next week.

I thought Morley could be back for next week? or am i just imagining that?

carvell one match ban certain, moz eye, wood back, solo conc, only carvs will be missing do him the world of good a rest, been awesome lately reet workhorse.

Why will Carvell be certain for a ban? Clearly hit the chest/ball first, and he immediately put his hand up to say it was a lazy arm - clearly not malicious...

Worst case all the above are out

The Carvell high tackle looked bad in the ground, swinging arm right on the chin, anybody watched it back on TV, was it that bad?

it was a lazy challenge...no intent WHATSOEVER.

I was surprised it went on report...because Ganson had a clear sight of what happened...I don't know why he didn't deal with it there and then if it was so bad!

I think Brett took a high shot as well...it happens...without intent.

Personally wish he'd sent him off, we'd have coped and the RFL would have deemed that punishment enough

This is exactly what i was thinking, game was over at that point, if he is banned, I think we could really stuggle against Hudds pack.



Suppose the importance of that "tackle" may hinge on the fitness of Wood, Morley and co.

My mates a journo and spoke to Smith earlier in the week and he was pretty hopeful on Morley being fit for the first play off game. He said the op had gone very well.

Not watched it yet - ban for Carvell?

intent is irrelevant, players have been picking up bans for lazy/clumsy high tackles for quite some time now and I don't see any reason why Carvell won't get a minimum 1 match ban for it. If he doesn't, then he'll be extremely fortunate.

why didn't Ganson do anything about it on the pitch then?..he had clear line of sight...if the challenge was so bad surely he should have been sent off.

Don't ask me mate, I'm only basing my expectations of a ban on the precedent set by the disciplinary for the past couple of years. If he's not called to the disciplinary, I'll be relieved. If he is called to it, I won't be surprised.

Hopefully Sol passes the head test and Woody is back,
the rest i think will definitely miss the next game.

Makes sense to take it easy with that one as even though the game is a big one there's more important battles to come.

I've just watched the match back, Carvell's tackle looked a little late and very lazy. I wouldn't be surprised if he just received a caution, after all he threw his hands up and fully acknowledged his wrong doing.
