Is Hock gets a long ban and Wigan throw him out on his ear then it could be an opportunity for the coup of the century for us. I would love to have Hock at Warrington.

I know some of you do-gooders will all go on about he eye gouged blah blah so what. He is a great player. We got Les Boyd under similar circumstances, Boyd had been banned for 12 months for elbow smashing Daryl Brohman in the face in Origin and breaking his jaw, then three games into his comeback, he eye gouged Billy Johnston





Of course the holier than thou Aussie judiciary then tried to ruin his career by banning him for 15 months with all that crap about it being a cowardly act and so on, and no Australian club would sign him after that, but that gave us the great opportunity to sign one of our most influential players in history.

Sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth with players of a certain quality and Hock most definitely is in that quality.

He is definately a type of player I enjoy watching i.e good offloader and puts in the occasional big hit but being a smackhead and lacking a brain outweighs his talent I think.

No not trolling, my views on Hock have been as consistent over the years, a few years ago under Noble, Hock was carrying that team, in the tough times during the void after Farrell left and when O'Loughlin was down on his form, Hock was a superb player, Paul Cullen used to go on about him on Sky more than Clarke does about Tomkins, so I wouldn't be surprised if Cullen tried to sign him. You could see right from Hock being 18 and starting out, that he was a class act, if he was an Australian he would be an Origin and Kangaroo player without doubt and we'd be going on about why do they produce players like this that we can't.

Hock for Solomona, when Solomona retires, would be a great deal for us, he would strengthen our team and weaken Wigan. In normal circumstances we aren't going to be able to sign one of their players - can you imagine us being able to sign Tomkins...? But Hock is more feasible because they may think he has baggage and needs a fresh start.
