| Who do we fancy? I think it will be quite close, mainly due to the fact that three of their past four meetings have been just that. I think Wigan's attacking from deep will cause Leeds alot of problems. Sam Tomkins is almost superhuman at the minute and will love the wide open spaces of wembley. Leeds have alot of experience in big games though. I'm gonna go for...
Leeds 20 - 33 Wigan
M.O.M Sam Tomkins

| I think Leeds could well win this.
I'm not overly bothered who wins but Leeds do have some great players that haven't performed this season.
If Maguire,Peacock, Sinfield, Webb et all play like we all know they can then they might just win it.

| I am gonna say ... 24-30 leeds. Last minute try to break the pies hearts. (Similiar to the disallowed try at th DW)
Overall though I hope it is a close tough game, not as slow as wigan usual make it and no forward passes getting missed. Oh, and a leeds win!

| I think it depends on how Wigan cope with the pressure in a lot of ways. Their fans are certainly flocking down there and their players will mainly want to win it for their departing coach. They're a terrific side in all honesty however the big occasion can get to any player. It'll be interesting to watch.
One thing we can conclude is that Leeds have to play very tight and seriously bust a gut in the opening period. If they make too many stupid mistakes ie, gifting Wigan field position then I'd expect Wigan to deliver full anal penetration with the omission of vaseline.
So, Leeds by 7 or Wigan by 26, depending on the opening exchanges.
I'll go with the latter though.

| Don't write Leeds out of this one.
Yes, they were truly GASH against us in last year's final....HOWEVER, they have tons of big game experience throughout the side, and have proved this season that they can go toe to toe with the Worriers, after that "gasmask" draw at Sheddingley and a dodgy 2 point loss at Wigan Athletic's ground, a few weeks back.
If Leeds turn up "mentally", they could surprise a few on here.
The sensible bet, is a Worrier victory.....BUT.......

| I hope that Leeds win with the most controversial try in the history of RL, with Peacock knocking the ball on and it rolls 5 metres forward, but Bentham calls play on. Then Brent Webb picks up the ball and throws a pass to Ryan Hall which is Tom Brady esque, putting him 30 yards further forward. Ryan Hall then picks up the ball, elbows Sam Tomkins out of the way whilst Danny McGuire have single handedly taken out absolutely every player in back play, leaving the whole team on the floor apart from the chasing Pat Richards. Hall then starts running backwards flicking the V's at him before being tackled and held down for 10 seconds after the hooter. But, Bentham then says that Hall is not held, he gets up, throws a pass to Kylie Leuluai who dives over the line but drops the ball in mid air. Bentham decides that he has grounded the ball easily and awards the try without going to the video ref. Leuluai then jumps in front of the Wigan fans and throws the ball at a 5 year old crying Wigan fan. All of the Ultras then start crying into their meat and potato pies.
Final score: Wigan 18-20 Leeds

| I see Wigan winning by some distance..... they will probably work up a decent 2-3 try lead in the first half... leeds might strike back with a few of their own at some stage.. but the result will never be in doubt.
Wigan 36 - 14 leeds

| If Leeds win, which I highly doubt, I hope it's McGuire who gets the winning score in front of the Wigan end giving them all the bird for wishing his career was over!

| I'm off and can't see anything more than a wigan win. However is its raining it will stop Wigan being free flowing as normal.
I'm looking forward to Skolars v Keighley more on the Friday night which will be a close game and I think Skolars might nick that one.
For anyone else going enjoy.

Start up a chant like this one:
(To the tune of Marching on together)
Sh*gging sheep together,
Sh*g 'em til they bleed, baa, baa, ba, ba, ba, baa
Leeds are not proud,
They sh*g 'em up and down
Sheep, sheep, sheep

Like most, can't see past an easy victory for the Pies.

Wigan by 22-28 points.

| I think the Challenge Cup is crying out for a thrilling final, we've been the villains in this piece for the last couple of years gaining pretty large leads then just sitting on our opponents, similar when Saints dominated the trohpy with finals against Hudds, Hull & Catalans that bored me senseless.
There's not been a captivating final for too long, so from that point of view, as the centrepiece of our RL season, on terrestrial TV, I hope it's a close one.
I'll go for Leeds to win by 2. Maybe, 26-24 something like that.
