Warrington Wolves sign Trent Waterhouse from Penrith Panthers but also bid a fond farewell to Matt King.

No, Waterhouse is replacing Anderson. Trent's a second row. As stated Ratchford/Evans/Blythe will replace King.

My replacing term, was used as a timescale replacement re King/Waterhouse, I'm well aware that Waterhouse's position is 2nd row.

It was slightly tongue in cheek. I don't hate him though. I had a similar conversation with Lefty regarding the definition of hate.

I think we have a lot of cover in the back. We have certainly strengthened the muscle but I think we could do with another hooker that isn't so far away from monas. The gulf in team performance on Friday was directly attributable to Monas going off.

I agree Higham does a job but he is one of a only a small group that hasn't improved under TS. He was much better at Sts and his mistakes are becoming prominent now. I certainly don't want him gone as much as some people want Clarke gone.

Clarke's (out of contract, at the end of the season) recent appearance total are currently equal to sightings of the Loch Ness Monster in the same timeframe. Smith clearly doesn't trust him
Higham (out of contract 2012) is no-where good enough now. Has Grix any experience at No9?
Higham's efforts last Friday, were at best, dire. Knock ons, penalties given, and pathetic attempts at tackles, one of which which led to a try (last Stains one of the first half). If Clarke had put in that kind of performance, there'd have been a 12 page thread on here, by now, and people outside the HJ with flaming torches and pitchforks, demanding his head.

Riley deserves another chance (he's WAY ahead of Williams imo, who, to me, is this decade's Dean Gaskell, with a better strike rate)...seriously, you could get some of our old wingers now in their late 50's, and they'd score Williams' tries this season.
