not back for a couple more weeks yet ..he's had an op to remove some cartlidge which was done over a week ago. spoke to him a week last saturday and he said 4 weeks recovery time

According to the wonderful world of Twitter, the Warrington Guardian reporter says that Joel Monaghan and Louis Anderson both have outside chances of playing this week - subject to late fitness tests. It is more likely though that Louis will return next week and Joel the week after.
I suppose we will see if they really are going to take late fitness tests when the 19-man squad is announced later today.
Paul Wood is expected to return this week.
