As a City fan even I'll admit that it's cack.

Funny when they score but embarrassing when it happens every 15 mins for no particular reason.

The reason they do it every 15 mins at a football match is because nothing interesting has happened in the game!

Turn your back in rugby for a minute and you could miss a great pass, big hit, missed tackle, great break etc etc, trust me it will never catch on at Rugby.

Couldn't agree more. The biggest thing that separates our game from the round ball is the attitudes of our supporters. We don't need football influenced rubbish blighting the game.

I feel the same way about these horns/hooters remeniscent of the Vuvuzela (shudders). They belong on the terraces at Goodison, not being blasted down my ears at the HJ.

As long as I've been going to watch Warrington it has been influenced by football crowds, especially during the 80's, early 90's. Not surprisingly really when there were a lot of lads going to United, Liverpool and Everton on a Saturday and Warrington on a Sunday.

As I've said on here before the Poznan is truly embarrassing. It suits the Eastern European and South American teams because they show more passion and in greater numbers. They can bounce up and down all game long with a a chant that can go on and on about their struggles over the years with authorities and rivals. Over here people get giddy on the internet that they are going to do it. Then giddy at the match that they are going to do it. Then turn around and sing lets all do the poznan

for two minutes and then turn around pat each other on the back about how great we all are.

The City fans took the out of the Poznan fans when they first saw it. More and more clubs have started doing it. I've recently seen Swansea and Leicester doing it and I believe the whole of the Stoke end were doing it last night. City aren't happy somebody has nicked their thing.

A lad on another forum who lives in Poland says that Lech Poznan fans think when they see clubs in England doing it, it is laughable.

Whats attitude is that, football supporters actually turning up to matches so stadiums aren't half empty? Or creating a decent atmosphere from time to time, without the need for it to be prompted by some shi'ite music after a try is scored?

But on this point I agree with you, 'The Poznan' shouldn't be witnessed at the HJ any time soon.

Our fans are good enough at turning their backs to the players at the best of times without the Poznan.

It had to BE their thing first of all for them to not be happy. If I was a fan of Poznan, I would be highly peeved off that City have stolen THEIR crowd antics.
