Have to say its better then I expected seems to have gone quick.

Top of the league though 81 tries scored, more points then anyone and the best defence in the league plus the massive points difference that comes with it, can't ask for much more with young players coming in and stepping up.

Still feel though we are just waiting for the main events of the Challenge Cup and the acid test of the play-offs.

I would like to see us do it but how many on here are really bothered about seeing us finished 1st?

1st or 2nd would be nice. I think any of the top sides can beat the others anywhere.

For me, a top two finish is really important. I'm not too fussed whether we win the regular season but I think we've done the hard work now to make a top two finish a realistic aim having been to Saints, Hudds & Wigan.

When we put our minds to it and commit fully we can beat anyone as has been shown already. The performance v wigan away and first 60 minutes v
saints shows that. providing we avoid any injury crisis and the players stay focused; we have a great chance. the best chance in a generation for us
to win the jackpot.

I've just been looking at the same thing. In 97, 98, 02 we scored fewer points in the whole season.

I love the stats, gives me something to do while the wife is watching some program with load of crap music on from all over Europe.

Under 20s are top as well after 11 games; scoring 500 points and conceding 212. Best attack and defence also

I really cant see you lot playing like this the whole season dont get me wrong you are playing a great brand of Rugby League but at somepoint you will get injuries and a lack of form. If you can overcome this with as little damage done as possible I see no reason why you wont be Super League Champions at the end of the year.

We have been patchy and lost bodies already.

Me neither.... at some point we will start playing really well... rather than just coasting along.

Apart from Wigan away, we haven't really played as well as we could have..... plenty of room for improvement.

You have scored 50+ points five times this season and you dont think you could have played as well you could have??? Some of your performances have been faultless this year.

absolutely.... were winning these games without having to get out of second gear... we have also lost twice to Huddersfield and at home to catalan and hull.... so to say were playing brilliantly and we will suffer a 'dip'in form is incorrect.... you could actually argue that we have had our dip already.

That might be allwell and correct but you habent had a host of injuries yet like Saints, Wigan and Leeds have. If that does come along at Warrington that could hit you bigstyle. I am not wishing injuries on any club but it will be intresting to see how you would cope without two or three big name players for a while.

wait did you see our injury list just after the first game of the season we have had our injuries but for people not to notice that just shows the great strength in depth that we have at the moment

You're right, I wonder how we would do if we lost say King, Atkins & Louis Anderson for large periods. Or say, Myler & Harrison for two months.

It'll be interesting to see how we'd cope.

so losing 5 players within an hour of the season starting, as well as broken cheekbone to Myler, ligament damage to Harrison, and others, aren't injuries??? Ho Hum

Yes, we've not been badly affected as some, but to say we've had no injuries is 'daft'
