Pretty good performance by Warrington, Bobbie Goulding scored 2, one was an interception and 1 was a solo effort with some good side steps. Notable mention for Warrington number 10 (not sure of his name), who ran in really strong and was solid in defence. Might have drawn had Hull not rushed their last 2 conversions and missed but a good game all in all.

I'd echo them sentiments Paul especially in the second half when we really did turn on the style.

Ben Hellwell on the wing had another great game as well and is proving to be a very astute signing from Bradford.

How good was 16 year old Ben Currie; unbelievable performance from him!

He did the full 80 didn't he? Good to see him pick a brace of tries up together with Hallewell's brace and one each for Riley, Shaw, Laithwaute and Mendeika (have I got it right this week?

).

Look forward to reading your report but for me I thought the team appeared to stick to the game plan and eventually wear out a good Hull outfit before cutting loose.

Alongside Currie I thought the other big guys: Duffy, Brennan, Broughton, Laithwaite and Riley all had top games. Mention also to Liam Hulme who played as well as I have seen him for some time.

Ben Currie did 71 minutes; he came off for a 9 minute rest and when he went back on he put Mendy through a huge gap before taking the return pass to score; great substitution!!!

If the rumours are true and Louis Anderson is leaving, would Ben Currie at such a young age be ready for the step up or is Ben Evans the ready made replacement?

I have always envisaged Evans as Louis' long term replacement, very similar style of player.

I think you're right. Ben has played at prop a lot but I see him with real potential to be a great hard hitting second rower.
