No briers, and devoid of ideas in attack. We had at least 6 different kickers on the last tackle tonight. No idea at all. We say this time and time again, but i fear for the future when Briers is no longer at Wire!!!

Take nothing away from hudds, they were up for it more than us from the first whistle, adn fully deserved the win, but it is quite alarming, we lacked ideas and organisation in attack!!! Bridge is not a halfback, proved again tonight.

Need a good response next week. Come on wire!!!

It is wrong, but it is how it is.

Very very disappointing...We were like a rudderless ship no direction and a none exsistant kicking game without Briers.
The halfback pairing of Bridge and Myler was poor to say the least..And numerous other players didn't turn up...

Mistakes didnt help, but i feel we were forced into this by the enthusiasm from Hudds.Just hope were getting our poor games out of our system now. Crusaders could fear the backlash next week. Bottom line is though, we have no one that can run a game when Briers is not playing! Brough was the difference tonight, hence the MOM award.

How did Wigan go on..

Huddersfield are nothing too special but work hard for each other. They have solid forwards and Danny Brough in the halves. IMO generally speaking we have the better players but we lack direction without Briers.

Had Briers played tonight we may well have won but we really do need to learn how to play and win without him. I thought we had managed this last year but on tonight’s showing then perhaps not.

It's not just about his passing or his attacking kicks, it’s more about defensive kicks and the advantage of a team starting a set on their own 10m line as opposed to half way. Any side would miss Lee’s organisation and skills but we really need to learn to adapt.

Knock on athon and countless stupid penalties looked like a different team than the one that beat saints and Wigan

just out enthused in the past two games we look totally flat nobody taking control of whats going on. generally think that we would of lost with briers tonight forwards totally dominated. why oh why do we insist on playing Jon Clarke, surely Gaz O'Brien deserved a spot on the bench tonight

The players have started to believe this "Wire are the real deal" stuff that Sky keep banging on about - clearly we are NOT!

Drop a few, play some youngsters, show us some enthusiasm (see my sig for further details!)

We have Lee has a leader, sometimes Monas brings his leadership head, great player but likes someone else to take the lead
Hudds have Danny Brough, if he doesn't play they have Robbo, he doesn't play Brown. That's the main difference.

What was wrong with Grix last night? Injured or dropped? I would of rather of had him at SO, and kept bridge in the centres. Didnt think much of Atkins last night.............

We had half our regular pack missing - Mason, Fa'Alogo, Griffin. THREE players. Half the pack missing against the "best pack in SL"!!!

very true,but we also have scott grix,david faiumu,luke o'donnell etc plus the best 2 young players in super league right now,patrick and mcgillvary.
i really did fear for us last night without griff,mase and fa'ologo but we completely outplayed you in every department.

So what happened last year when Briers was out for quite a few rounds and we still won plenty of games? Fluke?

Last tackle options were poor last night but so was the penalties we gave away and a complete inability to a) make yards b) hold onto the ball without sropping it.

Hudds were the better team and deserved the win but they weren't anything special. We helped them out as much as we could.

I'm not overley concerned at the moment. As mentioned elsewhere it was a carbon copy of our first game. If we can sort out those errors (which we have done before) then we can start hitting form again.
