Someone ask lee when if he has any plans for playing on a few more years and will he stilll stay at the club in some capacity when he hangs up his boots.

what is everyone's fixation with people's number of posts? Means nothing, If people have a view, point, question then they should be able to express it without someone dismissing it because they haven't posted as many times.

its more the needless post that annoyed me, if other clubs other than crosfields wanted to fundraise on here then im sure they'd be allowed, just because this is being held at crosfields doesnt mean its all profits to them.

I was involved with Crosfields for a few years and what people don't realise is that it is self funding and run by volunteers who give up their free time to get kids off the streets and learning to play the game we all love to watch and that's where the home grown talent comes from.
It costs a small fortune to run a club like that.
Money isn't thrown at them, they have to go out and find it, usually by organising such events as these.
My hat goes off to Geordie who has carried on coaching etc even though none of his kids play there anymore.
