| Just a bit of advice please. We're in Blackpool next weekend, but still thinking of going to the Warrington v Rovers game on Sunday, priced up the train but just wondered if you could tell me how easy it is to get to the stadium from the train station, as we've always come on coach from Hull before.
Cheers
PS How unlucky were you guys with injuries today

| It will take about 10 minutes to walk to the stadium. Out the station turn left and then its one long road with a bend in it

As soon as you come out of the station turn right (NOT under the railway bridge) then right again straight into the Railway Club for a couple of jars.
Walk up the road to the Lord Rodney for a bit of banter and a beer with a few more Warrie fans, then over the road and round to the away end for the rugby.
PS there is a chippy between the Railway and the Lord Rodney than did a Spam Sandwich for a quid. Helped soak up the beer!

| Bear in mind that we have two main line stations in our town centre, Bank Quay on the line from Preston to London, and Central on the line from Manchester to Liverpool.

I think you're getting confused with our other home ground where you have to walk up Wembley Way for 5 minutes. The HJ is about 2 minutes away from Warrington Central.

| The train from Blackpool will come into Bank Quay so just take notice of the first 2 replies...Central is on different line altogether , ideal for returning to Hull after the game, via Manchester & Leeds.

| Weeeelll, not straightforward actually.
First of all - it is just as feasible to arrive at Central from Blackpool as it is at Bank Quay. In fact, looking at times, it might be better for you to get the train to Central (change in Manchester) as it will save you the 15 minute walk. Also, there is some engineering work between Preston and Crewe on Saturday - if it overruns you could end up on a replacement bus from Preston.
