The game against St Helens is always a date for the diary and this season a new venue, Stobart Stadium Halton with tickets limited, we are giving our loyal 2011 Season Ticket holders priority booking, another great reason to get your Wolves season ticket.
Having taken nearly 6,000 fans to Knowsley Road last season, this years allocation is limited to just over 2,500.

| Bloody hell, needing a season ticket to get tickets for a league game thats shocking.
I do hope we only give them the same amount on the return trip and fill the rest of the stadium with Wire fans

| I have two prime tickets for this particular, must-see, fixture. With this surely, surely, surely being the game Warrington beat St Helens. I'll repeat that, surely this is the game that WARRINGTON BEAT ST HELENS. You don't want to miss this game, if you do, you will regret it for the rest of your life.
To prevent your lingering regret pushing you towards suicide, please PM with offers. I will sell to the highest bidder. Given the unique, once in a lifetime, nature of this event I'd expect to see offers for my tickets pour in to my PM box. Starting price would be roughly Ā£250 per ticket, but given the 'were you there when the SL era Wire beat Saints?' magnitude of the game I'd expect to see far higher bids.

Nasty tactic cutting the away fans allocation instead of cutting it as a percentage across the stadium. Is there no minimum allocation for away fans set out by SLE? And before you try defending yourself, bear in mind last year Saints got the entire west stand and a block or two in the north stand at our gaff.

| I've got to say I agree with Wire fans comments. The only reason I can think is they're ensuring there's a ticket for every Saints season ticket holder and split the rest 50/50. I'm not sure but that is the only explanation I can think of.

I would have thought it wasn't far off them doing that. But of course surely Warrington fans will be able to buy from Saints anyway (I know this will mean sitting amongst Saints fans but if they wanted to be there enough)
With a reduced capacity this was always going to be a problem for this season.

| Can't see there being any left for non-season ticket holders. However, it does say we have an allocation for just over 2500 but, the East Stand that we've been allocated hold around 3500. So why so many tickets reduced? Saftey?

I guess that we've been allocated the East stand
The East Stand opened in 2005, the East Stand means that the Stobart Stadium Halton is finally complete. A fantastic new structure which houses one large concourse bar with fantastic facilities for all.
East Stand Seating Capacity: 2443
Warrington will still then get more tickets as Saints won't sell nearly 11k. It's basic marketing to ensure an early surge. I can see the eventual split being something like 8k/5k

Possibly. Can't see them giving us both stands though. The West stand would suffice, just under 4000 would be enough but 2500 is disappointing.

According to the Saints site Saints have allocated the East Stand to Saints for the whole of the season, which seemed a pretty stupid thing to do. I queried it here
[urlhttp://www.redvee.net/forums/showthread.php?17529-How-many-Somone-must-know/page2[/url
So why you are only getting 2,500 seems strange, unless that's just an initial allocation.

I can't see you getting many more tickets tbh. Even if we only have 7k st holders (I am sure I read somewhere 8k but that was just from another poster on here so no idea how realiable!) I can see us easily being able to sell most of what we have left if not all.

On the link provided earlier in the thread, the figure for the West Stand also includes the 'executive section'. Presumably there are some kind of reserved tickets there or something for away people? Or just people who have secured executive facilities regardless of who is playing?
I can confirm that the East Stand is for Saints fans throughout the season as my season ticket is for the East Stand (unreserved seating and cheaper than the other stands!).

| I can understand peoples frustration but it is a smaller stadium and it's only temporary.
I would be very annoyed though if sky didn't show it, a lot of interest, a lot of disappointed fans.

As far as I can remember, the exec seating is in the South Stand, the West Stand is exactly like the East Stand but bigger, which is why I questioned the stand allocation for Saints season ticket holders. Didn't someone post that the reason Saints got the East Stand was that the facilities were better in the East Stand?
