That was probably only the NW edition, although tbh i didn't see the SE edition as it is a comic.

Only in the north west editions, nothing in the North Wales editions.

It's a pity that it takes such a newspaper, (and I use that word sparingly) to showan interest in our sport.

The Independent on Sunday had a single page report on the final by Dave Hadfield, whilst 5 pages focussed on the new rugby union season.........

It was actually only sold like that round Warrington, just like last year. Ended up buying the rag, just like last year. They even used the same headline, "High Wire".

Am looking forward to buying the 2011 version.

I work in manchester for the mirror and apparently we did 30000 special editions of the people for warrington on sat night. I wasnt working i was drunken.

As we also print the independant and independant on sunday i can confirm that all the journalists are southern "rugger buggers" and have very little interest in real rugby.

Would have been the same as the People, basically it would have just been the local area that would have got them. Not fussed about the papers anyway, 5 Live over the weekend was where it was at.

National radio, 5 Live Sport live from Wembley, full build up, match commentary, lead story on Sports Report and on Friday night a special programme discussing the final along with an interview with Che God on Sunday Sportsweek.

Give me that coverage over a local edition of the Scum newspaper any day of the week.

I also saw it on sale in Widnes today, along with us on the front of the two Rugby League papers. I bet that went down well with the locals.

have been down south doing a couple of gigs in dorset and wiltshere. bought guardian on sunday, telegraph and
mirror today just to read the press reaction. all papers acknowledge the performance. telegraph especially
as they state that 'all superleague clubs should be afraid'.

I sincereley hope that any of you who bought that ghastly rag, had the sense to buy a copy of readers'wives to hide it in, just to avoid any embarressment upon leaving the newsagents!!
