i think the rfl should look into making a new cometition or bringing back one of the old ones like the lancashire cup or the regal trophy some good old competitions it would also make it better in my eyes and give teams an extra chance at silverware which is only won by the big clubs nowadays which i dont think is a good thing.

Yeah all the players and coaches moan about too many games and many want to reduce the number of teams in Super League because of this, so let's bring back another cup. That'll solve the problem.

If you scrap the MW for it then there is no extra game, makes sense IMO, play it at Eastlands.

of course its a good thing that only the top clubs win trophies. Its what drives on all the smaller teams to improve and what makes the current trophies so prestigious. A lower team can win the CC. Look whos got there in recent times, and you guys have won your 1st trophy in a while, and are back again this year. Thats the improvement clubs strive to. And another point is there already is enough games, so we dont need anymore.

I think another trophy would be a good idea for those who finish outside the top 8. A wooden spoon esque trophy. As daft as it may sound, the crowds would still turn up and gives the lesser teams something to play for
