Thie link was posted on another thread but look what is says lower down the page about the millenium weekend going back to cardiff. Did the RFL make a decision because in June when they said it was staying they were going to "make a decision next month".

it must be true if its in the sun lol btw does anyone know what weekend superleague starts next year? im going sunderland for a mates birthday on the 5th feb weekend and i know it usualy starts around then thanks |

Sounds like it's going to be the first weekend of the season - that would be the most sensible time to have it if it's going to be held in February. Obviously, this is the Sun though!

Terrible idea. Just hope we dont have another winter like this years, with all the travel chaos. That would make it great going down to the south of Wales in those conditions. I agree it needs to be derby games to sell the event, but I just dont think thats very fair. The fairest way to it would be 1v2 3v4 etc from this season.

Remember reading Bilko's thoughts on it back in May. 1st v 2nd, 3rd v 4th, 5th v 6th, 7th v 8th, 9th v 10th, 11th v 12, 13th v 14th from this years placings would give better games!

Can't agree more & that's what Saddler says in the League Express. Crazy to play the games in February in Cardiff, I won't attend as it will be a nightmare to get there & back! |

If it's in February presumably it will be the season opening weekend? Apart from the weather, that would be awesome. Better than sending all the SL captains down to London so they can be photographer in front of Big Ben with cumbersome headlines like 'Capital Gains for SL Kick Off'
