I don't mean to sound like sour grapes but, isn't it too early for people to be giving Wigan the treble like many on here are?

Obviously not from this board but I have seen Hull fans, Hull KR and even a Saints Fan admit defeat.

Wigan have bought big money, risky ventures.

When did fans get so divided about their own teams? Or at least wait till Magic Weekend to decide about them!

a trip to your board will show that you have several posts that are active comparing who will be the best and how great these signings are.

By they way there is a topic on this on almost every other teams board. If you think they are over hyped then thats fine no Wigan fan really cares about your opinion, but why does it bother you that Wigan fans are going on about how great these signings are on THEIR OWN board???

IMO these are qaulity signings, seen plenty of all 3 of them and am looking forward to seeing them at Wigan.

Finch is being overhyped. Very average. He's playing average alongside one of the most effective halfbacks in the NRL in Cronk.

You have changed the context slightly but it is okay.

I was questioning fans ( rival fans in particular) considering the next two or three seasons wrapped up and admitting defeat.

It is perfectly fine for Wigan fans to get excited but they may be overblowing the whole thing.



That is also an interesting point; as I have mentioned there is nothing wrong with Pie fans to get excited- so no problem there. However, on the same argument you use; can we not discuss your signings on OUR OWN board.

You are welcome to join in the discussions. We can admit they are possibly great signings. Other fans (maybe not yourself) have to admit you haven't purchased rugby gods and it could turn pear shaped come next year.

This thread was originally questioning other fans giving up so early.

Put it this way, as a Wire there's not a chance I'll be giving up on any season, ever! And since Che took the helm, hopefully there's more trophies to follow this year and beyond!!
