Still buzzing from last night, as I'm sure everyone else is.

Went to the loo at half time, and you could hardly breathe through the smoke. People were openly smoking and asking if I had "skins to smoke weed".

I can't understand why and Wire fan would do this, and risk getting kicked out of one of the biggest matches of the year? :s

Go to any toilet at any sporting event since the ban came in and it will be full of smokers at times when there's nothing to watch on the field (ie half time).

I don't smoke but obviously it's something they need to do. The smoking ban is wrong in my opinion.

Some right santimonious drivel on here. Some people smoke. Deal with it.

People can smoke when they get out of the ground, which incidently enough is a total non smoking stadium. If they can't go 2 hours without having a cig, then there is something seriously wrong with them.

I can understand that people are addticted, but I really can't get why you would risk getting kicked out of such a big game. Was simply hoping someone could shed some light.

In short, its an addiction and smokers NEED a smoke. And if theyre caught, they arent kicked out, they just get told to put it out. So no risk really. They just get told off, put their smoke out, and spark up in the bogs at the opposite end. Simples.

i agree, you shouldnt do it, but because there is no punishment there is no risk, if that makes sense

And what about the non-smokers frequenting the same toilet? Is it okay for them to breathe in the fumes whilst in a [uNON SMOKING[/u stadium?

A few people I know who smoke have no issues about waiting till after a game to spark up.

I flew to Egypt last year and we had a "addict " smoker light up in the toilet. Boy did the staff on the plane drop on him. Complete idiot if you ask me.

If it was up to me they would get kicked out and face fines. Smoking in ANY area where it is banned is unacceptable in my opinion.
