Where is the best/safest place to park?

I've only ever been on coaches before but i am driving this weekend.

Not bad on the sports centre opposite the turnstyles at Odsal. Traffic has a filter line exiting the car park at the end of the game so not a bad get away too.

What ever you do dont go on the other carpark near the sports centre as it takes forever to get out of even if you leave early they make you wait for atleast 20 minutes

And just to be annoying...

I've heard there is some sort of leisure facility nearby the stadium:-

a) Is this true
b) Can I park there
c) Is it easy to get away from?

a) Theroretically
b) Whilst driving a hovercraft only
c) Only when in a parallel dimension

ok... so the best place is the sports centre car park... but whatever i do, i shouldnt park on it.

I parked in Odsal Fire Station on Manchester road last week. £2 and all monies go to Cancer Research IIRC?

Dont park further down Manchester road as a friend had their car keyed and a car near him had a Hudds Town badge with a Bulls badge and the scum keyed BCFC into the paintwork.

Take the M606 signposted Bradford. Don't go to the end, but take the first turn off. At the bottom of the slip road turn left & then immeadiate right into Staithgate Lane which runs parallell to the motorway.

I normally park towards the end of that road just before the industrial units. obviously it depends on how many Wire fans have got there before you as to how far up the road you can park.

From there it's a 15 min walk to the ground & the beauty is its free & dead easy to get away after the game.
