I have just returned home after only my second game this year and would like to say thank you to the girls in Wolfware who took the time and trouble to let me have my photo taken with the Challenge Cup.
I believe I may be the Wires furthest travelled supporter living in the Irish Republic and often phone Wolfware. The Monday staff in the shop were voices on the end of the phone so I decided to go along and introduce myself before catching my flight home.
Due to family reasons I have not been able to attend as many matches so far this season and missed the recent supporters day. When I mentioned this it was all sorted for me and I was taken to Reception where the Cup was handed to me and a photo taken.
I have supported the Wires since 1972 and to hold the Cup tied with primrose and blue ribbons made my weekend. At all times I found everyone from Wolfware and the Reception staff to be professional and helpful.
Once again thanks to all concerned. A long standing supporter returned home extremely happy.
