As we are roughly half through the year how do you all thing the table will look at the end of the season?
For me:
1) Wigan
2) Warrington
3) St Helens
4) Leeds
5) Huddersfield
6) Hull F.C
7) Bradford


Hull K.R
9) Wakefield
10) Castleford
11) Crusaders
12) Harlequins
13) Catalans
14) Salford

That sounds about right, maybe a re jig from 8th to 12th, i feel any of those teams can achive a play off place.

I have a feeling Wigan will fall away majorly at some stage in the season.

I see Saints topping the table and I reckon Wigan will do enough to hold on to second with us in the top four, possibly with Leeds who will come good though it may be too late to finish that high - they'll push anyone in the play offs though.

The dream scenario from this would see Saints select their obvious opponent for club call - the team that never beats them - and in our last game at Knowsley Road with the Grand Final to play for...

i think our game at leeds (14th) will tell us where we will be at seasons end,given there form is very dodgy at best, id hope we murder them.

Murder them? Not a chance, i think we will win but i don't think we'll "murder them" there getting key players back and will be confident from what should be a big score against Blackpool and will rest a few.

well i dont think wakefield are even close to us and they gave them a tough time,is why i said we should murder them,well so long as the team comes out of saturday's game ok.

They have lost Burrow for 3 months and bailey could be out for 3 weeks too..

Saints will now go on from strength to strength and win the minor premiership. Eastmond will ensure that he really is that good, he can turn a good side into a great side. Without him Saints would finish third or fourth.

2) Warrington (we will beat Saints this year)
3) Wigan (will drop off a little, they have the same players as last year who were not good enough)
4) Leeds (still the one to beat for the Grand Final)

As for the rest I just don't know, i have left them as the original poster had stated but one or two teams will go on a good run which will take them into the top six or seven.

Burrow hasn't been very good this season and Sinfield will fill the void., and Bailey is a pile of crap IMO.

Sinfields not been too clever either from what i'v seen but some Leeds fans say Bailey has been there best forward this year

I heard that Bailey might be off to Cas. I don't rate him atall.

Phew. I'll win my bet if that's the case (as I did against PY last year).

If someone offered me second place now I'd take it straight away, at this stage now i would be devastated if we finished outside the top 4 since we are in such as good position. Although i do respect that their is still a long way to go in the competition, here is for hoping we make second place!

Top 3 will be us, Wigan and Saints probably saying Saints to be top, not sure of 2nd and 3rd... Still have a horrible feeling that we can't rule out Leeds of the GF picture even during their current poor form, but saying that they are dragging out results; at Murrayfield this weekend just gone is a perfect example. Don't forget Crusaders just yet, think they maybe a dark horse to spring a suprise or 2 in the play-offs, typical Nobby style! But fingers crossed, Wire to be at OT come October, what a time to turn over Saints for the first time in so long...

How come you have the impression that becuase its the same team Wigan will drop off, as you say they wernt good enough last year. Do you not think Maguire has improved them alot this season. Just look at how much Roberts has improved from last year, imo although the same players are there they look at different team.

Warrington have brought in just 3 players, and last season they had a low league position, so some of your players wernt good enough. But yet this year they have improved, just like Wigan hence the league position. These 3 you have brought in are not the only reason Warrington have improved, alot of it must be Tony Smith.

I think the top 3 will be Wigan, Warrington and Saints in no particular order. Should be an interesting battle between those 3 for top spot.

Long, long way to go. It is the second half of the season where injuries begin to creep in and may have a bearing on how things stand.
