i think that the strongest pair on the wing is matt king and ryan atkins, their speed and strength is awsome, and then with riley and hicks on the other. What does everyone else think?

If it was my decision I would play bridge next to hicks and king next to atkins.

I think mathers has been excellent in the last 3 games... Certainly wouldn't want Riley at fullback instead of him.

i really can't get my head around all these mathers bashers..it really frustrates me...the lad tries his best every week, everybody makes individual mistakes, he gives 110% and cares alot about his rugby and his team, he gets really wound up when he makes a mistake which shows he loves his rugby and wants to do his best. He is a tidy, solid, enthusiastic full back who loves his rugby ^^^ yes he may make the odd mistake here and there but who doesn't i'd also like to point out he is the only player who claps the fans when they come out onto the field, Smithy doesn't sign crap and knows a good player when he see's one.

Who between Mathers and Penny makes the most mistakes? Who scores the most try's? Both of these players are enthusiastic to the end. When Mathers messes up there's alot of "leave him alone, he's trying his best and everyone makes mistakes". When Penny messes up the "linch mob" is out trying to drive him away. So why the difference of opinion? They both seem on a par to me!

No was purely trying to find out why our fans can give lots of support to one player who makes mistakes and then give no support to another. Personally i think both players are worth there place in the first team squad where they play i will leave to the man who knows best
