Just got back and all I can say is that we were just not at the races today at all.


My ratings which are all out of ten are in the context of a poor team display. So each rated player would have got 1 or 2 points less in a normal Wire performance.

Mathers . 6 Showed a lot of power to take his try.
Riley. 5 Scored a try didn't see much else
Atkins 5 Nothing to report. Did try throughout
King 6 His try was shear power and determination mixed in with a degree of skill
Hicks 4 Hardly noticed him
Myler 4 Sorry Richie I am a big fan of yours but today was a million miles from what we know you can do.
Grix 6 Worked hard all game
Morley. 6 tackled well not the inspirational Mozza we are used to.
Higham 5 Don't know what to say really other than like EVERY other Wire player this wasn't his best in the P & B
Carvell Went off with a knee injury within the first 6 minutes
Westwood. 6 Took the ball up time after time
Louis 6 See Benny W
Harrison 6 At times tackled like a lion

Bridge 6 Looked sharp when he came on
Solomona 6 Looked dangerous with the ball
Woody 7 well done Paul good game
Mitchell 5 came on the the end when all was lost.

No way, Woody work rate in the pack was superb.

Westwood may have got close if he stopped giving away stupid pointless penalties.

they were all pretty average at best but we can't beat a team when a ref has a rovers vest on...what was the penalty count anyone?

didnt help smith hearing (and acknowleging he had) one of our fans call him a w@nker

absolute rubbish; the ref NEVER cost us the game today.

I agree Dave, I wish it was the Ref but it wasn't.
We lost a game that was early in the second half 16 - 16 and there for the taking.

We lost the game and no one else.

i never said he was but it didn't help, like i said we were pretty average the best team definatley won

Wasn't the refs fault we was jst very poor especially in 2nd half coudnt really finish a set mathers mom for me, gd effort for try, never give up, couple of good tackles stop them scoring and he swooped up any kicks through exceptionally

How is Harrison getting 6's - he was dreadful today and missed three tackles in the frist half that inevitably led to Hull KR tries.

In summary - dreaful.

Sorry if this is all a bit negative but we were so bad against an average side (although they did well today and punished us for our performance).

Thing LA needs a rest. He cost one try yesterday by rushing out of the line to put on a trademark big hit, missing by a mile, and leaving a huge hole behind which they went through to score.

As much as I like Grix, I'm no fan of him in the halves.

Mitchell looked out of his depth.

Too many players had poor games yesterday. Anderson has played 65/70 minutes of the last three games. Harrison has played every match this year. Westwood was, yesterday, what opposition fans often class him as. Grix does a job in the halves but yesterday, his "loose forward playing in the halves" act was shown up as no one else was being creative and even the 3/4s had an off day.

Don't think he was that bad 2 me honest apart frm he hardly penelised kr for holding down were as we was penalised quite alot for it . Made no difference to the result, however in my opinion before final pass for fox's try in corner the ball bounced infront of atkins but went to Newton (I think) were if it went to atkins we would of gone ahead in match and could have won.
