I'm not one to slag of players but i think we need a fluent goal kicker. Bridge has done a great job but these past weeks he has been sloppy with the boot. His goal kicking could of earned us a draw at Saints and a few more points today. Mr Moranovich; may our next signing be a goal kicker please.

Can't agree that Bridge is kicking well.
Disappointed that Hicks isn't kicking but that's probably because of his pre season injury.
It is an area we need to improve on and could cost us on Monday.

hicks was are best kicker a few years ago if he's not fit to kick he should not play in my opinion

Hicks was excellent at kicking and as a winger last year. He's still the no. 1 winger at Warrington imo.

How many teams can boast such a number ??
Also, stats can disguise the fact that a lot of our tries are being scored out wide, interesting to note that Pat Richards and Kyle Eastmond have missed more kicks this season than Chris Bridge, maybe saints and Wigan should also be on the look out for new kickers ??

As I said in another topic, he doesn't kick often because he is nothing more than a capable back up kicker. Re the England game, he kicked 9/12, of which the vast majority were under the sticks. |

As Ive posted elsewhere
Tickle - 25/28 = 89% (missed 3)
Eastmond - 35/44 = 80% (missed 9)
Richards - 38/53 = 72% (missed 15)
Bridge - 19/28 = 68% (missed 9)
Bridge not in the same class as Tickle or Eastmond. In my view we need a high percentage kicker with success rates 80%+. |
