Salford never scored a try today, in the second half they had about four repeat sets on out line and never got over.

Certainly tested out our defensive shape and structure considering we continually coughed the ball up. Some of the individual hits were pretty special as well.

I agree defence wins games but if Salford would have not been so poor in there attack they would have gone over more than once today!

On that basis then, our attack was poor, but we still scored 32 points. If we'd have gotten out of 3rd gear, we would have put 60 on you.

Nope, not happy in the slightest. We scored 32 points and conceded 2. I expected zero points conceded and at least 60 scored.

I am thorougly disappointed and will be writing to the club to convey my disgust at that performance.

Not the prettiest game of rugby today and apart from the two points off course our defence was on top form again today. To stop a team scoring a try in modern rugby is an achievement in itself but with todays wet and gesy conditons our defence held firm. So easy to be wrong footed or fall over in the conditions but well done Wire. There were some bonecrunchers going in in the first half, Anderson and Morley spring to mind

Our line defence was good yet again, as was our cover defence when Salford made a break.

Was worrying that they made 3 clean breaks, however we did well to cover, Hicks especially in the second half.

Special mention to Riley today, there were a couple of times in the first half they had on over lap on him but he went flying out and clamped the ball.

Poor game today however 32 points in first gear is pretty good, will have kept a fair bit in the tank for Monday as well hopefully.

that was the main thing i took from today as well, there's not much more we could have asked for today, 2 points, without expending too much energy.

I think our last couple of games have been particularly poor in attack but somehow we're still managing to win convincingly. I did wonder how on earth Salford managed to beat Hull last week.
