I feel sorry for the season ticket holders, you spend the cash then you don't know where the home games are being played !

To expect people to travel halfway round Wales to follow their side shows how much contempt the club has for their fans.

If the RFL allow the crusaders to move to Wrexham then I for one hope that all SL and NL1 clubs stage a revolt and form their own new governing body/administration.

The RFL are an absolute joke and have been for some considerable time. With them in charge the game will continue to go backwards.
Lets not kid ourselves here, if murdoch and his sky corporation had not stepped in then our beloved game would be in a terrible state right now.

The RFL have done nothing for our game apart from make it look rediculous. The license awarded to the crusaders was simply due to the RFL's overwhelming insistence on expansion and that alone. It is now coming back to bite them on the backside and they should take the blame and stand down immediately.

IMO rugby league should be kept in the rugby league heartlands, widnes should of been put in instead of celtic and to be honest i dont think catalans should be in super league either.

I didnt say we would benefit better without catalans in super league i just IMO think rugby league should be kept in the rugby league heartlands. id much rather see leigh,halifax.. ect in super league than a french team.

And the SKY money that keeps the game alive would be considerably less if it were, as would sponsorship revenue, general commercial interest and TV price wars. Catalans have added so much to Super League, they are unbelieveable success. The RFL can say to prospective TV companies and advertisers that their product will not just be seen by people in Wigan and Castlefor, but also Cardiff, Carcassone and Barcelona. It might be seen as selling out, but we'd be nowhere without it.

...but that would mean the RFL admitting that letting them in was a 'mistake', which will never happen.
I would personally love to see Crusaders survive and be successful in SL, as with other potential expansions (Toulouse, Paris, Cumbria etc...) but if they move to Wrexham, I can't see that happening

As an expansion debate is kicking off again, here's a genuine question; at what point do Warringtonians stop thinking "I'm all right Jack" and start worrying?We have seen a number of traditional RL heartland clubs fall by the wayside in recent years, consigned to the lower divisions in the name of expansion, yet still we see posts such as this:



Now yes, everybody is entitled to an opinion and that is fine, but where are all these teams of the future going to fit? Will Super League be extended to twenty teams? I highly doubt it.

I would say we are currently the sixth "biggest" team in SL. Irrespective of league positions over the last year or two I believe Saints, Leeds, Wigan, Bradford and Hull FC are bigger than us. Hull KR have huge potential although Craven Park could do with a lick of paint and Huddersfield showed a lot of growth last year and also have the benefits of a 25,000 seater stadium and "The Birthplace of Rugby League tag" meaning that's two clubs who POTENTIALLY could push us down to eighth in the pecking order.

If we allow Castleford, Wakefield and Salford to go to make room for Toulouse, Paris and Cumbria and regard Catalans, Crusaders and Harlequins are safe then Warrington are suddenly looking over our shoulders when people start talking about Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin are we not?

I am a Warrington RLFC supporter, not a "Rugby League Supporter" and as soon as Warrington RLFC cease to exist (or merge with Widnes...) I will stop attending games.
