| I know the club shop has taken some stick recently on the forum,but I would like to give credit where it's due.
Me and my mate are season ticket holders in the north stand but due to my 10 year old nephew becoming addicted to the Wire and wanting a season ticket for Christmas [He has followed the team to 7 away games this season including Hull K R Q f and Wembley final,he wears his wire shirt with pride round Cannock we could not renew our current seats for next season as there were no vacant seats either side of us.
We made the journey up to Wireland last Thursday as we thought we would be able to book new seats, only to be told we couldnt until to Monday.Instead of being told to come back on the day the staff said give us your phone number and we will call you Monday.True to there word I had a phone call at 12 o'clock today from the club shop and we now have 3 good seats sorted without any hassle. Thank you

| Yes. I think I should also give credit to Wolfware. Living in Manchester makes it's akward for us to come to the shop to collect such things as tickets or shirts. The club will always offer as much help as they to us.

| As an 'out of towner' I can't knock em,always been good to me.
The complaints I see on the forum could be given to any club shop.My local football club Wolverhamptonon Wanderers are accused of exactly the same thing. I have to put up with the moaners every day in the office where I work . Sometimes you have to put up with a bit of hassle as long as you get what you want in the end.

| I know they are a easy target ,but why should the staff in the club shop be criticised when they are doing their best under difficult circumstances?
The problems lie higher up in the club.

| they get plenty of stick in there mainly due to problems with merchandise not getting in quicker and stuff which is beyond their control,there has been a few glitches with some aspects of season ticket renewals but this again is beyond their control.
i have been in twice to sort tickets out for next season and they have been very helpful and friendly,i think the shop has improved greatly,well done to all that work there.

Well I am happy that that is the service you recieved I went to shop has soon has tickets were on sale .we wanted to move from east stand to north stand and delete one adult and add one junior, Iwas told to come back in the afternoon which we did. Tlad then told us it would be better if we came the day after the ticket deadline then it would be a simple task. So day following deadline duly arrived at shop ."we can't sell the tickets untill monday" patience wearing thin I explained situation young lady pointed out seats we ould have if they wern't renewed and she would faithfully phone us over the weekend, but what if you don't phone I ASKED "TWICE" OH i WILL " IF YOU DON'T SHOULD i GET HERE FIRST THING MONDAY? No it will be sorted no phone call went on Monday waited 80 mins got near front of queue when we were near front lady shouted over "oh yours are sorted" another 20 mins we got to counter nice and lighthearted, to be told those seats have been sold. now if that is good service then god help us all

Did one of the young lasies in there steal your wife or something?
If you were "on a break", you don't have a leg to stand on.
Compaints about the staff and service seem to be plentiful, but all coming from the same minority of people. I've certainly never had anything to complain about with the club shop. Maybe I just don't have stupidly high expectations......or a vendetta against the staff.

| Went in yesterday afternoon, only 1 person and their child in front of me so I got served straight away. Asked to renew my South Stand season ticket and it was completed quickly, the staff were polite and were smiling.
I live in Warrington (Great Sankey) and go in the shop quite a few times, I always find that the staff are good.

| I still don't see the difference between people using the shop who still live in Warrington and those who don't. I'm from Warrington, I still speak with the same accent (with maybe a bit of smoggy thrown in), and unless I speak to the staff on the phone, they don't know where I live.
