Nice gesture by the club, would be made even more special if the lads favourite players delivered their gifts in person.

I don't think anyone can say that about the pictured try which took some scoring.
In fact I'd say Kevin Penny looked a top notch player at the weekend, easily his best display for some time.
Took some great high balls and scored two tries.
Pushed Briers for MOM IMO
Hopefully a good off-season under Tony's wing and he will come back next season the young super star we all hope to see flourish at his home town club.
The team does lack pace which is something Kevin has in abundance.

I think I know the one behind, certainly his dad. I think he's one of the dad's from my son's age group at Crosfields (U9's), am sure of it. However, being crap with names means for the life of me I can't think of it...

I bet they've only started going since Wembley, as well. There are younger kids there week in, week out all kitted out in the club's colours. Why do they get nowt?

Because they weren't stood in the front row by the corner flag when Penny scored that try. If they were, they would have got a ball also.

That's merely coincidental, though. I was stood in line with a Briers kick to touch, I'd like that ball and it to be signed, too.

we were reminded not to take pictures of the kids performing before the game but not of any in the stand.

Not necessary - there is often a public misconception that young people can not be photographed without permission.
If you are in a public place and happen to appear in a photograph there is no law against it.

One of the lads has now been identified and I am sure he will not lodge an official complaint about having his piccie on a website and a chance to get his prize!

One and a bit page thread, and already two pretty poorly-concealed bits of sarcasm have caught some whoppers.
