Went to Hull KR yesterday had a great day out, (despite the win) but couldn't help wondering where the 50,000 that went the town hall last week had gone too....have they all been abducted...

We really needed a home game post CC to keep the band wagon rolling !! If you could pick a game not to have the week after it would not be a visit to Hull on a Saturday night with the game on Sky.

I was a little disappointed with the turn out but still had a good day out and though we were in with a shout until Higham's try was ruled out.

Will the 50,000 turn up on Sunday ??

Inaddition to the Wembley only supporters, anybody involved in amateur rugby wouldn't have been able to trek across to Hull because the NWC season started yesterday. So all those players and admin staff and their families were otherwise occupied. It's a shame it was in Hull and not more local. It's a shame it was moved to a Saturday evening!

Come on lets face facts...the trip to wembley was very expensive for the majority of us.

If you can afford to follow the wolves week in week out then thats all well and good but dont have a go at those who cant

Not a go at all, I understand there will be many reasons for people not being able to attend, but to go from 50,000 to a few hundred..

Unfortunately some of us have to work and can't always get the time off. Having said that I do use a large proportion of my holiday entitlement to support the Wire.

As discussed last week it is clear that the majority of the 50k are glory hunters never to be seen until some silverware is on show.

Its not a surprise its just a fact of life

being one of the 52, i for one was there with 3 others of the 52 leaving 48 unaccounted for

Enough time to save for Wembley is this person havin a laugh...obviously went on his own and did not have to fork out for the wife and all the kids to go at three weeks notice. Either that or hes won the lottery. I for one will not be going next week as that day out cost me a fortune, well worth the money but August wages are well and truly spent....bring back the good old days " here mum have 20 quid board, oh and get some of those biscuits i like". Theres my ale money, my bookies money, money for the match...oh ive loads left over.

the truth is actually just the fuel costs, i enjoy the traveling but i refuse to get a better economy car. just bought it to replace my other baby and love it but god it's thirsty.

I wondered how long a thread like this would take.

A week after Wembley, game on telly and away in Hull. Not really the most accessible game for any new fans we might have gained after winning the cup. We didn't go. Foz doesn't finish work until 5:30pm on a saturday. I didn't even watch the game live. Taped it and watched it later last night with Foz and a curry. I must be the worst fan ever.

I think a lot of KR fans were suprised at the low turn out for two reasons

a: you are always one of the best followed teams we get at our ground

b: you just won the cup and thought you might like to rub it in

The cup was there, silver thing held up by a Warrington fan every time they scored.

Felt a bit let down when they turned it around only to see the word WEETABIX printed on the back.

Ive only missed 4 games all season including challenge cup, being bradford,harlequins,catalan, and hull kr all away, didnt go last nyt as i was down to bare bones of money, my bank account went from £310 to £50 and would have cost around £30 to go hull kr so was in no position to go

You (and others) shouldn't feel the need to justify yourselves to those who claim they're the greatest fans [iever[/i. Nobody should be made to feel like they're less of a fan because they don't go to every game, buy all the merchandise, know the vital statistic of each player and all results for the past 50 years.

You don't need to explain to anyone why you didn't go last night, it's nobody else's business

I was at a music festival in which tickets were booked before Sky even changed this game, so I couldn't go.

If that makes me a bad fan in some peoples eyes, then so be it. Personally, I don't give a rats anymore.

i love Wire but i can't devote my life to them, some people do and fair play to them but for one my wife would divorce me if Wire came above her
