i haven't read it, but don't read anything into that.
whilst skimming i did notice that richard de la ginge was furious that the giants were robbed by the video ref twice in the final. And that schofield thinks the rfl were wrong to give celtic a licence.

Did Schoey manage to fit in:
a) A mention of Lee Crooks; and/or
b) The fact that he is one of only 7 players to ever 'frighten' the Australians?

I've questioned Lord Editor's knowledge on Rugby League for quite a while, you've just confirmed it.
I'm assuming your on about Lunt's double movement after the ball carrying arm had hit the ground, and the obstruction on Bridge? Both correct decisions. Although I do sympathise on the obstruction ruling, I think if your seven or eight metres behind the dummy runner it shouldn't be obstruction. However, the consistency in disallowing these type of tries has been the same all season and for that reason alone Bentham got it right.
As for Schofield, I never read his column but the visa-gate farce has only added fuel to his conservative fire.

| LPL's stuff really has gone downhill in recent times, and RdlR has been one of the chief catalysts in that decline.

if you're 10 metres ahead of the ball carrier dummy running you've no business ploughing into a defender.

Brilliant, you could just have 12 men taking out opponents up the field with Brett Hodgson and Lee Briers running about behind. Almost NFL style.
Clear obstruction, penalty kick defence.

Wasn't that the same reason we had a try disallowed in the first half @ Leeds a few weeks back?
