penny had a mare the ref was of silverstud standard(crap) and wakey wanted it more than us..but stroll on next week cant wait

They seemed fair calls to me. A forward pass and an offside. I thought the offside one at least was a no brainer.

TBH, I think Wakefield just played better. We weren't so bad as to only lose by 12. Admittedly, there were some soft tries in there but I didn't think Warrington were too bad.

It looked to be the odd little thing. Moore was always able to offload the ball, which did us damage everytime.

However, I think that Penny will be a liability next week and Smith should not play him. Some may say harsh, but Hicks has proved himself to be much better on the wing (and can actually keep hold of a ball and not drop it at the 20).

Think/hope, a couple of the players have played them selfs out of a place next week.

He's only in the team because of Hicks finger injury.

i suppose its all on who is fit to come back in as we r still low on numbers!

I feel for the lad, but he will be a liability next week. Smith will hopefully put Hicks in, fitness pending.

That aside, I think it was mission accomplished, no real injuries and no bans. I didn't see one player tackle above chest height, clearly instructed not to walk the tightrope, they didn't, the whole thing lacked intensity, I can understamd why.

And Grix in for next week, out Johno, Vinnie, Penny, and Rah.....looks good to me.
