No TS has obviously agreed to it being made public, possibly to embarass the players concerned and I have no doubt that should it be deemed necessary they will be punished by a fine or suchlike by the club. |

I'm sure Smith will/has dealt with it.
Hopefully they'll learn their lesson, one would imagine that they'll be told in no uncertain terms that this behaviour isn't acceptable, and won't be tolerated.
Smith letting this be put 'out there' shows he's not going to shy away from stuff like this, fair play to him.
Hopefully the individuals will take their punishment, learn from it, and ensure that it doesn't happen again.

There are certain players out in the league who need their character "honing" slightly. They are big daft lads who do dig daft things. The clubs should have a responsibility in helping problem cases.
Saints tried it with Ste Bannister, before shipping him out in the end.
Another Saints junior I know off (currently plying his trade elsewhere) was a real bad 'un. He dated a friend of mine, and almost every night he joined us in town, it would end in trouble.
Some lads need a bigger lad giving a belt round the back of the head sometimes. |
