Don't know if anybody else are attending these games but as anyone else noticed that two games are being shown by the BBC
There showing France V Australia which to be fair i can fully understand if sky didn't want it but the second game is probably the game of the tournament in England V Australia and with it being on BBC the kick-off time has changed to 2:30 at the JJB Stadium.
Apart for the Challenge Cup it's very rare if at all that the BBC show games of such magnitude and with Sky presumable having first pick i cant understand why they have let the game go to the BBC.

| Any RL on terrestrial TV is fantastic really, in fact, any sport in general these days. As a kid, we didn't have SKY all the time, think we had a diamond dish, then didn't have one for ages etc, but I can associate BBC with RL, Grandstand always had RL on. I got to watch GB in test matches and have memories to this day of them, what we need is folk of this generation getting these memories, I love SKY, I love what they offer Sports nuts like me, but the lack of sport on Terrestrial TV is poor. Again growin up, kids holidays for me were cricket, Tony Lewis, there'd be a B&H Cup Game on, or England, and that's how you get into the sport, needs to be looked at for me.

| Not impressed with the 2.30 KO on a Saturday, the same time majority of BARLA games kick off.

Oh you poor boy. How you would have faired with just 2 TV channels like us 70's kids. I guess more time in your room with an vodka soaked orange, plastic bag and obligatory wotsits.

You was only 9 come the end of that decade. You are a child of the eighties (and you should have bought a new tv that could recive BBC2 and Ch 4).

us 70's kids you were 1 in 1972! so technically you were a child in the 70's but i kinda agree with paul Y your only a child of an era from about 11 or 12 0nwards!
can you seriously remember the 70's, i can only just and i was born in the 60's, to quote keith richards "if you can remember the 60's you weren't there" i think this is the case with you and the 70's

| As part of the new TV deals last year it was confirmed that BBC would have one England game per year. Most assumed it would be a lesser game like the mid-season France game, but fair play to the RFL they have got the biggest game of the group stages, and possibly the comp on terrestrial TV which is a great move.
People have been wanting Test footy back on the BBC for years. I believe this will be the first time live since the 2000 World Cup.

| lets hope they put together a panel and a commentary team to do it justice then. as much as i like ray french, for all that he has done within the game, i do feel they need to modernize their take on rugby league and get some serious examples of rugby league glitterati to give this the feel of the huge game it is
