Suits me fine, Pickersgill is a young and tough forward who will go far in the game IMO. Penny is always a threat and is wonderful on his feet. Pity they're not appreciated more by there own fans.

I'm glad Ste is doing well. I don't see a future for him at Warrington but I hope he does well at Widnes, I think he might have found his level now, playing every week in the championship with Widnes. Who knows, he might be a super league regular in super league for them in a few years time.

Said at start i'd expect Penny to go back & Picks to stay! Just think Kevin is too good a prospect to let go, whereas Cooper seems to be ahead of Picks in Wire thoughts and add Carvell, Wood & Morley can't see him getting a game in next 2 years or so (Rauhihi retire soon).

Very unslefish of Penny to hand it on to Picks (though it nearly messed it up) obviously a good pal and Picks got great reaction after announced was 1st ever try!

Seem's happy enough, fans like him and is good to see a player of that potential get on the pitch and have a lot less pressure on there back, at the end of the day a player in Penny's posistion will only benefit from 1st team rugby and I have already seen a few improvements in his game since day 1, had a real blinder yesterday and against Halifax aswell!

I think Pickers and Penney were given more love and praise in the club after fax away, in a 30 minute period than they have recieved at wire altogether.

With Pickers i think his serious knee injury set him back slightly and Mike Cooper edged in fornt of him in the first team rekoning...Good to see him getting some game time at Widnes...
