Hilary Steel has been awarded the MBE for her voluntary service to rugby league in the North West. Hilary is the Chair person of North West Counties (open age), secretary of Warrington District and secretary to North West Counties Youth 16s-18s. She has her critics but her devotion to the game is unquestionable. Well done Hilary.

Don't know you Hilary, but nice that someone gets an award that appears to be deserved.

That is how the honours system should work - recognition for those who give something to people and expect nothing in return. Not like these civil servants / sportsmen / actors who become honoured for doing a job.
