as i said - if the team keep on winning no one will get on their backs.
I think we can all forgive an occasional defeat - as long as the lads wear the shirt with pride and give it their best shot.

Losing isn't ideal, but if the team give their all and get beat by a better team, you can't/shouldn't complain.

Great stuff you can just tell with the way King was that Tony coming in has changed the whole club round from were we was to now its really great to see.

The Hull KR game at Edinburgh being a good example of this. We lost but no real grief from the fans

His Manly form was at hooker, maybe with Micky Higham being out injured we may get to see the real Michael Monaghan if we play him in the position where he shone for Manly.

Decent interview, quite clear that he buys into this 'team ethos' and is quite prepared to sacrifice himself for the needs of the team, a bit like Monas may need to now and accept that he's a 9 not a 7.

Tony has changed us round immeasurably in such a short time. I don't buy this clap trap where the players say "he's just changed the little things". I reckon he has had a root and branch reform. None of this "give me time" garbage from Tony, he's just got on with the job, swiftly and effectively.

We were coached by an amateur for so long, now we have a professional. Just wish we did it 2-3 years ago when it was a clear as the nose on your face (to some of us) we needed a change.

Michael Monaghan developed into a far better hooker at Manly than he ever was a scrum half at the Raiders, if you think he`s a better scrum half than he was a hooker at Manly then your watching a different game to the rest of us, his kicking game is shocking to put it bluntly and his distribution at times is best described as wayward.

Interesting maybe. But not suprising. Lee Briers has a world class kicking game.

Its strange how no coach deemed him a good enough scrum half to play City v Country never mind Origin, its all well and good Phil Gould thinking of playing someone, Phil Gould has probably thought of playing hundreds of players during his time as NSW coach but actually playing someone instead of thinking of playing them is a totally different ball game, if he was thought of as good enough in that position then he would have played.

Having a virtually none existent kicking game doesn`t help any half back, having wayward, erratic distribution game doesn`t help either at any level.

Maybe he has, but not in all games & not all season and that's his problem and probably the reason that he hasn't had representative honours.
