| what a great interview, but the more and more we hear from the players over the last few weeks, the more we see what a difference TS has made:
Since Tony Smith has come to Warrington why do you think your performances have been getting better?
Lee Roberts, Warrington
Tony has rekindled my love of working hard. He is big on the little things in the game and working hard individually and for the team.
There is so much talk around doing things right all the time and working hard, something that has been so obviously lacking. TS appears to have brought a real sense of professionalism to the club.

| I admit I judged him way too harshly. Not in terms of performance, but in terms of his attitude. I saw him laughing and joking after pathetic defeats and took great umbrage. I still maintain it's not the smartest thing in the world to do, but I accept now, it's just his character rather than a lack of responsibility. He's playing really well now too.
I was wrong.
Matt King, you no longer make my balls sting, rather, you make my heart sing. You make everything. Groovy. Matt King.

| Every time I have heard Matt King being interviewed i thought he comes across as a really nice fella. When he was alleged to have been laughing at speccies i thought it was nothing malicious just his sort of nervous reaction. I caught a bit of him on GMR last night and he said that Melbourne used to have 5 or 6 thousand fans a week that would turn up who didnt have a clue about RL (Mainly AFL down there) and they would sort of cheer him if he knocked on. He admitted that is a different world here. Like the rest of the team he is quietly going about his work in an almost german stylee efficient manner. Nothing too flash but doing what must be done. Long may it continue, keep up the good work.

| Interesting to see his favoured position is centre, still think he's a better winger but hope he proves me wrong.
Working under Che Smith has obviously revatilised the man. I reckon he'll be more used to the lifestyle over here now, and this could also have a lot to do with his improved form. I know he lives in Salford Quays, but its still a world away from Melbourne.
Why did no one at the club stock his cupboards up with vegemite before he arrived? Typical of the amateur way the organisation is run.
If Wire win the Challenge Cup this season I'll send him a 3kg tub, a box of Tim Tams and 24 Tooheys extra dry.
