So he should be. That would have resulted in a severe injury had it conected with Louis. For me, one of the most blatant attacks to the face i've seen. He's lucky he missed. I'm surprised that more hasn't been made of it.

It didn't seem that bad to me. To the point that we weren't 100% sure why he had gone, but then it did happen fast.

They have charged him with an intentional attack though, so it may be serious for him.

I saw it from almost head on to the attack. Sat just behind the players and subs. He had a proper swipe at him with te elbow/forearm, and as a former player who has seen these attempts at amateur level, it was a cowardly attack by a player who had clearly been stepped, and wanted one up. Louis realised this i think, and thats why he waded in with even more vilence than we're used to seeing out of him. This was also the player that moments earlier had swung a punch at Louis in the tackle and connected, right in front of us. How the linesman let it go was shocking. If that escapes without a ban, when Westwoods waranted 5 matches, it will be criminal.

I sit behind the posts in the East stand, and it was clear the the elbow/forearm was clearly aimed at the head. It wasn't even subtle.

From the South stand we weren't sure if it was a trip or forearm. But I think it was planned ( or should I say planned to wind wires up to kick off) as the tackle before it nearly kicked off and afterwards some of the York players were giving high fives untill their player got sent off.

I think they throw it in with the next round of Super League games. Means the part timers at Red Hall get a week off
